No cookies. Here is what we keep instead
randomchat.social does not set cookies. It does keep a few things in your browser's own storage so the site works. This page lists every one of them.

1. The short version
- We set no cookies: none for advertising, none for analytics, none for sign-in.
- We keep a small number of items in your browser's local and session storage. All of them are needed for a feature you use, and none is used to track you across other sites.
- You can clear all of it at any time from your browser settings.
2. Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small piece of text a website asks your browser to keep and send back with every request. Local storage and session storage are similar places in your browser, with one difference that matters: what is kept there stays in your browser and is not sent to the server automatically. Session storage is emptied when you close the tab; local storage stays until you clear it.

4. What we do not use
- Advertising cookies or advertising identifiers
- Analytics scripts or tracking pixels
- Cross-site tracking of any kind
Because nothing here is optional tracking, there is no cookie banner to click through.
5. Other companies
A few features rely on someone else's service, which follows its own policy:
- Google sign-in. Only if you choose "Save account" or buy a plan. Google's sign-in window is Google's own page and may use Google's cookies.
- NOWPayments, the payment provider. Only if you buy a plan. Checkout happens on NOWPayments' own page, which may use its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud.
- KLIPY. GIFs in the chat are loaded from KLIPY, so its servers receive the request for each image.
6. Clearing it
Use your browser's "clear site data" or "clear browsing data" option for this site. That removes everything in the table above. You will get a new random name next time, your chat history will be gone, and friends made without a saved account will no longer find you. A saved account is not affected: sign in again to get your name back, or remove it under "Save account" in the chat.
If you block site storage altogether, text and video chat still work, but the site cannot remember your name or theme, reconnect you after a dropped signal, or keep friends.
7. Changes
If what we keep in your browser changes, this page and the date at the top change with it. The wider picture, including what our server processes, is in the privacy policy.
